Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy at Health Hax in Mooresville, NC
OxyCell

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Breathe deeper than your body usually allows.

Mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy gradually raises the ambient pressure around you while you relax inside the chamber. The experience and pressure level differ from hospital-based HBOT prescribed for specific medical conditions. At Health Hax, the OxyCell chamber is offered as a general wellness and recovery session, not as a treatment for disease.

Sessions are quiet and surprisingly meditative. A coordinator explains the process, stays nearby, and helps you equalize the mild ear pressure as the chamber adjusts.

Who it's for

People looking for a quiet, unhurried addition to a general wellness or recovery routine. Many guests pair the chamber with red light or PEMF. It is not a substitute for physician-directed medical HBOT.

What to expect

You'll slip into the OxyCell mild-HBOT chamber, fully clothed, and lie down. The chamber pressurizes gradually; you'll feel mild ear pressure (like a flight descending) and can equalize easily. Phones and devices stay outside the chamber, so bring a book or just close your eyes. Ninety minutes passes faster than you'd expect.

Before you come in

  • Hydrate well the day before, and go easy on alcohol and caffeine.
  • No smoking or vaping for at least 12 hours beforehand; it cuts into the benefit.
  • Eat a light meal or snack one to two hours before you arrive.
  • Wear clean, comfortable cotton clothing and skip lotions, oils, perfume, and makeup.
  • Phones, jewelry, and anything electronic or flammable stay outside the chamber.
  • Let us know about ear or sinus congestion, a cold, recent ear surgery, claustrophobia, or pregnancy so the clinical team can advise you appropriately.

You'll get the full prep rundown by email when you book.

01What is mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy?

In the OxyCell mild hyperbaric chamber you lie down, fully clothed, while the chamber pressurizes gradually. Breathing in a pressurized environment helps your body take in more oxygen. Many people use it to support recovery, energy, and mental clarity. Sessions run about 90 minutes.

02Where can I find a hyperbaric oxygen chamber near Mooresville?

Health Hax has an OxyCell mild hyperbaric chamber at 108 Gateway Blvd, Suite 209 in Mooresville, NC, serving Lake Norman, Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, and Troutman.

03What does the hyperbaric chamber feel like?

As the chamber pressurizes you feel mild ear pressure, like a plane descending, and you can equalize easily. Devices stay outside, so most people read or close their eyes. The 90 minutes passes faster than you would expect.

04Is there anyone who should check before trying hyperbaric oxygen?

Let us know about ear or sinus congestion, a cold, recent ear surgery, claustrophobia, or pregnancy before booking. If you are managing a medical condition or seeking HBOT for a diagnosed condition, please speak with your physician first. This is a general wellness service, not physician-directed medical HBOT.
