Recovery, the way your body actually wants it.
Health Hax is a recovery center in Mooresville, NC, built around the Lake Norman community. Cryotherapy, cold plunge, infrared sauna, compression, and more, under one roof, so you can build the routine that fits how you train and live.
Cold, heat, and pressure, used on purpose.
Cold exposure, radiant heat, and dynamic compression are some of the simplest, most proven ways to help your body bounce back. Our two cryotherapy options cover both ends of the spectrum: whole-body cryotherapy for an overall reset, and localized cryotherapy when you want to focus cold on one area.
You do not need to know where to start. Tell a wellness coordinator what you are training for or recovering from, and they will help you choose a session, or pair a couple together, with no pressure and no medical claims, just a routine that feels good and is easy to keep.

01What is whole-body cryotherapy?
Whole-body cryotherapy is a short session, about three minutes, in a chamber cooled by nitrogen vapor to well below freezing. Many people use it to feel refreshed and support recovery. At Health Hax in Mooresville, a coordinator stays with you the whole time.
02How long is a cryotherapy session?
The session itself is about three minutes. With check-in and changing, plan on roughly 15 minutes at the studio.
03What should I wear for cryotherapy?
We provide gloves, socks, and slippers to protect your extremities. You will wear dry undergarments and remove jewelry and anything damp. Staff walk you through everything before you step in.
04What is the difference between whole-body and localized cryotherapy?
Whole-body cryotherapy cools your entire body for a few minutes in a standing chamber. Localized cryotherapy directs cold air at one specific area, like a knee or shoulder. Many people use whole-body for an overall reset and localized to focus on a single spot.
05Can cryotherapy be paired with sauna, compression, or cold plunge?
Yes. Many members build a recovery routine, such as an infrared sauna followed by a cold plunge, or cryotherapy with leg compression. A coordinator can help you put a simple sequence together for your goals.
