Infrared Sauna at Health Hax in Mooresville, NC
Sunlighten

Infrared Sauna

Gradual, dry radiant heat in a private Sunlighten cabin.

Unlike traditional saunas that primarily heat the air around you, infrared saunas use radiant heat that warms the body more directly. The cabin runs at a lower air temperature than many traditional saunas, so the heat often feels gradual and approachable.

Sunlighten units use near-, mid-, and far-infrared settings. A coordinator can explain the available programs and help you choose a comfortable starting temperature and session length.

Who it's for

Anyone winding down from a high-stress week. Athletes between training days. Guests who prefer dry heat or want to warm up before a cold plunge.

What to expect

You'll hydrate well in advance, change into something comfortable, and step into the Sunlighten cabin. The heat builds gradually, far less intense than a traditional Finnish sauna. Bring water, a towel, and a book if you'd like. Sweating and heat tolerance vary, so follow the studio's hydration and session-time guidance and leave the cabin if you feel unwell.

Infrared Sauna is one of 22 wellness and recovery modalities at Health Hax in Mooresville, NC, serving the greater Lake Norman area including Davidson, Cornelius, and Huntersville. Explore Recovery & Cryotherapy and Longevity & Wellness, or browse all modalities.

If we missed your question, call us at (704) 660-0070 or email info@thehealthhax.com. A real person answers during studio hours.

01What is an infrared sauna?

An infrared sauna uses radiant heat rather than relying only on hot air. The Sunlighten cabin operates at a lower air temperature than many traditional Finnish saunas, so many guests find that the heat builds more gradually.

02Where can I find an infrared sauna near Mooresville?

Health Hax has a Sunlighten infrared sauna at 108 Gateway Blvd, Suite 209 in Mooresville, NC, serving Lake Norman, Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, and Troutman.

03How long is an infrared sauna session?

Sessions run about 30 minutes. Hydrate well beforehand, bring water and a towel, and a book if you like. The heat builds gradually and you will sweat, which is the point.

04Infrared sauna or steam room, which should I choose?

Infrared saunas use dry radiant heat, while steam rooms use warm, humid air. A coordinator can explain the practical differences, help you pick, or arrange them across separate visits.
