Power Plate at Health Hax in Mooresville, NC
Power Plate

Power Plate

Tri-planar vibration. A full thirty-minute whole-body activation session.

Power Plate vibrates in three planes (vertical, horizontal, and lateral) at frequencies that trigger your nervous system to recruit far more muscle fibers than usual. A session on the plate can do the work of a much longer workout, and it’s one of the few modalities with peer-reviewed data on bone-density improvement in older adults.

Add it to the front or back of a strength session for an immediate boost.

Who it's for

Anyone using vibration training as warmup, cooldown, or a standalone bone-density session. Older clients working on strength and balance. Athletes adding a quick post-session flush.

What to expect

You'll step onto the Power Plate platform and follow a wellness coordinator through a series of holds and movements: squats, planks, simple stretches. Some clients follow one of the machine's pre-set programs instead. The vibration does the work; you're activating up to ten times more muscle fibers than the same movement on a stable surface.

Before you come in

  • Stay hydrated the day before, and skip a heavy meal right before your session.
  • Wear athletic clothing and closed-toe shoes.
  • We provide filtered water, but bring a refillable bottle if you'd like.
  • Two to four sessions a week is the sweet spot, and it makes a great warm-up or cooldown for an ARX or bike session.

You'll get the full prep rundown by email when you book.
