Private Contrast Room at Health Hax in Mooresville, NC
Private Suite

Private Contrast Room

Your own cold plunge and infrared sauna, behind a door that locks.

Contrast therapy, the practice of alternating heat and cold, is one of the oldest recovery rituals there is, and the research on circulation and muscle recovery keeps backing it up. The private contrast room gives you both sides of that equation in one quiet space: an infrared sauna to drive heat deep into tissue, and a cold plunge waiting a few steps away.

It’s the same heat and cold our open studio offers, minus the part where you share it. Book it solo when you want the routine to feel like a ritual, or bring a partner and trade rounds.

Who it's for

Anyone who wants the contrast routine without an audience. Couples or friends who'd rather alternate rounds together. First-timers who want to ease into the cold at their own pace, on their own terms.

What to expect

The room is yours for 45 minutes, with a cold plunge and an infrared sauna a few steps apart. We recommend heat before cold: warm up in the sauna, plunge, then repeat as many rounds as the clock allows. Towels are stocked, the door locks, and nobody is watching your face when you get in the water.

Private Contrast Room is one of 22 wellness and recovery modalities at Health Hax in Mooresville, NC, serving the greater Lake Norman area including Davidson, Cornelius, and Huntersville. Explore Recovery & Cryotherapy and Longevity & Wellness, or browse all modalities.
