Tanita

Body Composition Analyzer

Five minutes on the Tanita tells you what the bathroom scale can't.

The Tanita body composition analyzer uses bioelectrical impedance to estimate muscle mass, body fat, and body water. These readings are useful for tracking trends, but they are estimates rather than a diagnosis or a direct measurement of each tissue.

Some clients scan when they start a membership and repeat the scan later under similar conditions. A coordinator can help you read the printout and keep hydration, food, recent exercise, and timing in mind when comparing results.

Who it's for

Anyone starting a membership who wants an honest baseline. Athletes tracking composition through a training block. Clients on a weight, performance, or recovery protocol who want numbers instead of guesses.

What to expect

You'll step barefoot onto the Tanita analyzer for a quick bioelectrical impedance scan. It takes about five minutes and produces estimates including muscle mass, body fat percentage, and water balance. Hydration, food, exercise, and time of day can affect the reading, so compare scans taken under similar conditions.

Body Composition Analyzer is one of 22 wellness and recovery modalities at Health Hax in Mooresville, NC, serving the greater Lake Norman area including Davidson, Cornelius, and Huntersville. Explore Recovery & Cryotherapy and Longevity & Wellness, or browse all modalities.
