Niagen (NR) IV Therapy
An NAD+ precursor with emerging human research and a different infusion experience from direct NAD+.
Niagen is a patented form of nicotinamide riboside, a precursor involved in NAD+ metabolism. Oral NR has been studied more extensively than IV NR, while research on commercial IV protocols is still emerging. A small retrospective pilot reported different tolerability profiles for IV NR and direct NAD+, but larger controlled studies are needed.
If you are still weighing the two, our plain-English guide to Niagen IV vs NAD+ IV walks through the current evidence, limitations, comfort, time, and cost. A clinical consultation comes before either option.
Who it's for
Adults curious about NAD+ precursors who want to compare the emerging evidence, infusion experience, time, and cost with direct NAD+ under clinical supervision. It is not a treatment for aging or disease.
What to expect
A consultation with our Nurse Practitioner first. Niagen IVs are are often described as more comfortable than direct NAD+ infusions, although comparative evidence is still limited. Plan for about ninety minutes in the chair; we follow the Niagen with a cleansing IV infusion to replenish. Many clients pair Niagen with red light or HBOT in the same visit.
